      The highest areas of Romagna are of border ones: natural border as high valleys, deep badlands, windy ridges, and headlong rivers divide Romagna from Toscana, Marche e Umbria. Romagna crossed by wayfarers and armies in the past, and ideal area for holy hermits, is the meeting place for millenary cultures which create different and peculiar ways of life, dialects and traditions. It is an exchange which began thousand of years ago with the first human settlements
